Ntara is excited to announce the recent addition of a new creative/UX/UI director to our team beginning August 1. Ron Coalson comes to Johnson City with 15 years of progressive experience in B2C, B2B, and healthcare environments. As a recent creative director at MCD Partners located in Chicago, Ron was instrumental in the successful deployment of Discover.com where he blew KPIs out of the water, yielding one million unique visitors within four weeks of launch, all thanks to his innovative campaign strategies.
Ron has worked with the likes of IKEA, Microsoft, Comcast, Adidas, Anthropologie, ESPN, Burger King, Xerox, MTV, Spike TV, Comedy Central, Logo, VH1, Pilot Pen, LensCrafters, Tria Beauty, Allergan UK, NBC, FOX, and Xfinity.
“There are numerous reasons why I am excited to join the Ntara team—culture, talent, location, and growth, just to name a few. But what truly excites me about joining the team are the people,” says Ron. “It is evident the team that makes Ntara tick is by far the most talented and friendly team I have seen from New York, Chicago, to California. Ntara truly is a gem tucked away in Johnson City, Tennessee.”
Ron has been involved in producing campaigns for brands across the globe, specializing in creating concepts and strategies with extensive experience in creative, user experience, and strategy. Ron’s ability to optimize utilization of development, delivery, and managing operations through process improvement, program coordination, and strong business relationship management make him an obvious fit.
“I have a very straightforward creative process. Research, design, test, learn, adjust, release,” says Ron. “Although this is a very linear process approach in a work environment, there is not one process that fits all clients. Forward-thinking projects that create trends, rather, fuel my motivation every day.”
In this role, Ron will be supporting our incredible customer lineup of branded manufacturers, technology, and healthcare brands. He will also assist in growing a team of designers, art directors, and writers on an invigorating blend of projects that include websites, social media campaigns, microsites, apps, and any other big ideas our current and potential clients can dream up.
“The leadership team at Ntara has been looking far and wide for the perfect fit to fill the creative/UX director role,” says Jeff Morris, CEO at Ntara. “We believe strongly that having the right person that is a match with our culture, values, and client mix is imperative. Ron shares our passion for building great online experiences, and we are very excited to have him join us.”
Ron also comes to us with experience as a member of the adjunct faculty at both Parsons School of Design and University of the Arts. He’s been a team member at some big hitters like the Brownstein Group, VML, QVC, and MTV/Viacom. Outside of work, you might find Ron skateboarding, building motorcycles, geocaching, or hanging out with his English bulldog, George, and lab/daschund mix (also known as a “Doxador”), Walter White.
We think he’s going to fit in just fine around here…we’ve already got him addicted to Dr. Enuf and ping pong. You can reach Ron at email@example.com or on LinkedIn. Please join us in welcoming him to our team! Be sure to look out for some amazing developments in the coming months.
