Build an elegant ordering platform for in-store kiosks and at-home web
We were given the task of building a platform for ordering customized fans from a selection of 8 million possible combinations. This included developing a site that performed seamlessly on desktops, tablets, smartphones, and touch-interface kiosks in 28 showrooms across the country.
Simplifying eight million possible parts combinations
One of our goals is to make incredibly intricate digital technology invisible for the end user. In this case that would mean utilizing custom modules in the Kentico content management system to handle the wide range of possible combinations and deliver a flawless experience across all common devices and the not-so-common in-store kiosks. Custom Casablanca currently allows only two trusted partners to house the in-store kiosks in their brick and mortar stores. In order to facilitate good relations with these partners, the in-store kiosks are immediately identified when accessing the Casablanca product database and automatically filter out any possible combinations not supported by the local retailer.
