Overview

The right HR professional for this position will love working with the high capacity and driven professionals at Ntara. We are digital craftsmen. We build things that are large (up to 1.4 million page websites), complex (multiple languages and currencies) and integrated with systems that span the globe. Don't worry if you haven't built or optimized a digital ecosystem, we need someone to help us recruit and retain world-class craftsmen and women for our growing company. This is a full-time, on-site position at the Ntara headquarters in Johnson City, Tennessee. We are not considering remote candidates for this position at this time.

The right HR professional must also be able to build trust and confidence with team members. That could be through (mostly) friendly games of ping pong, or in front of the computer demonstrating how to request time off for an employee's European vacation. Being the right candidate for this job means not only having the skills we’ve listed below, but also the ability to walk onto our team and be impactful.

Ntara is currently seeking an HR professional responsible for administering policies relating to all phases of Human Resources activities such as recruitment of personnel, training, benefits administration, and other Human Resources activities by performing the following functions:

Human Resources Manager & Recruiter Jobs: Things that will make you successful at Ntara

  • Bachelor’s degree Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or another relevant discipline
  • Preferably, a minimum of 5-7 years work experience in Human Resources
  • Tech-savvy professional with knowledge of HR software and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role
  • Familiarity with social media, resume databases, and professional networks
  • Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations

A day in the life of a Human Resources Manager & Recruiter at Ntara

  • Administer Human Resources activities such as hiring, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics reporting.
  • Assist with the monthly, quarterly and annual creation of a strategic sourcing plan for Ntara departments.
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting, are in compliance.
  • Partner with executive leadership team to review personnel turnover report quarterly and assist in identifying opportunities increasing retention.
  • Evaluate current recruitment processes and implement best-practices based recruitment programs including:
  • Sourcing (job boards, social media, networks, professional recruiters, etc.)
  • Applicant funnel analysis (candidate source, preliminary scoring, screening calls, in-person interviews, candidate assessment, background checks, and hiring)
  • Research innovative recruitment strategies / programs and recommend improvements to executive leadership.
  • Conduct preliminary interviews and scoring for assigned positions including reviewing candidate applications and resumes for relevant skills, experience and education.
  • Plan and conduct new employee orientation and on-boarding to foster employee retention and alignment to corporate business goals.
  • Lead workshops with Ntara management in ongoing best practices such as: interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance reviews, safety, and sexual harassment.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding Ntara policies, procedures, and programs. Provide recommendations regarding resolution of employee relations issues.
  • Coordinate quarterly review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization. Facilitate salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within organization.
  • Conduct exit interviews to identify retention opportunities and causes for employee attrition.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to data integrity by ensuring accurate, complete and thorough documentation and tracking for each candidate in Ntara’s applicant tracking system in a timely manner and verifying accuracy.
  • Work with senior leadership to develop and refine job descriptions and streamline interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements.
  • Work closely with marketing on Ntara branding and recruiting initiatives.
  • Forecast quarterly and annual hiring needs by department.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
