Launch is the beginning, not the end

Most PXM investments are evaluated at go-live. But go-live is actually when the real work starts. Channels change. Platforms release new features. Business requirements evolve. New regions, brands, and partners come online. And without ongoing support, the system that launched well begins to drift. You begin to accumulate technical debt and establish workarounds. Before you know it, adoption problems erode the ROI that the original investment was supposed to deliver.

Ntara’s PXM managed services keep that from happening. We provide ongoing support, optimization, and enhancement for your PIM, DAM, and integrations. That way, your PXM infrastructure stays aligned with where your business is going.

What managed services covers

We scope managed services engagements around your business needs. Common workstreams include:

System monitoring and issue resolution: We proactively monitor the health of your PIM, DAM, and integrations so issues are caught and resolved before they affect channel performance. When something breaks, you’re not starting from scratch. You have a team that already knows your stack.

Feature delivery and enhancements: PIM and DAM platforms release updates regularly. We evaluate what’s relevant to your configuration, implement new capabilities, and extend your system as your requirements grow. And we do all that without disrupting what’s already working.

Integration maintenance and expansion: Integrations to ERP, PLM, ecommerce, CMS, and syndication endpoints need ongoing care. We maintain existing connections and build new ones as you add channels, partners, or platforms.

Governance and data quality management: Completeness rules, taxonomy, and enrichment workflows need to evolve as your product catalog grows and changes. We tune those governance mechanisms so your data quality doesn’t degrade over time.

Adoption and change management support: New users, new teams, and new processes all require ongoing enablement. We provide the training, documentation updates, and workflow optimization you need to keep adoption strong after go-live.

Roadmap planning: We work with your team on a regular cadence to evaluate what’s working and identify what’s next. We help prioritize continuous improvement in line with your business goals.

With Ntara as your ongoing PXM partner, you have:

  • Proactive monitoring and issue resolution across PIM, DAM, and integrations

The difference between a PXM investment that compounds over time and one that stagnates is what happens after launch. Managed services are how you ensure PXM continues to deliver returns.

Results we’ve seen

What started as a rescue mission for a global footwear brand became one of Ntara’s longest-running managed services partnerships, spanning more than six years.

The initial engagement resolved critical performance issues in their PIM implementation and syndication to ecommerce. But once the foundation was stable, the real value of ongoing partnership became clear. Since then, we rebuilt all existing integrations for speed and scale. We delivered 64+ custom extensions, automated imagery workflows, and built a translation integration with end-to-end job tracking. We also established reliable data feeds to fulfillment vendors and drop-ship partners.

None of that was scoped on day one. It emerged from an ongoing relationship with a team that knew the client’s stack and understood their business goals.

This same pattern holds across industries. We’ve worked with a global cosmetics brand for six years across PIM implementation, governance improvements, and syndication expansion. At a time when many data projects stall, this company is still gaining speed. Most recently, they launched syndication on Amazon and TikTok Shop, with 320 active syndications now running across channels.

When PXM managed services makes sense

  • Your PIM, DAM, or integrations are live, but your internal team doesn’t have the bandwidth or expertise to maintain and grow them
  • Platform updates and new feature releases are going unimplemented because no one has time to evaluate or deploy them
  • Integration performance is degrading and you’re not sure why (or you’re adding channels faster than IT can support them)
  • Adoption has plateaued and you need ongoing enablement to bring new teams and users up to speed
  • Your PXM roadmap exists on paper but isn’t moving because there’s no dedicated team to execute it
  • You want a strategic partner who knows your stack and can help you plan what’s next

What does your PXM system need to keep performing?

Let’s talk through what ongoing support looks like for your environment. Discovery calls are no-pressure and typically 30 minutes.
